Healthy Girl Foods

BLUEBERRIES

Among the healthiest berries on the planet, they are packed with antioxidants & vitamin C which are wonderful for our immunity.

I enjoy topping my Greek yogurt & chia pudding with a handful of blubs.

LEAFY GREENS

Dark leafy greens are packed with antioxidants & nutrients. Contain folate which is needed for healing & repairing in the body, also amazing for the hydration & elasticity of our skin & helps balance our blood sugar levels.

CHIA SEEDS

Among the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. High in fiber, omega-3 & antioxidants. Chia seed pudding, smoothies, and yogurt toppings are delicious and easy to incorporate chia seeds into your diet.

POMEGRANATES

Among the healthiest fruits on the planet. Loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C & anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranates contain two plant compounds with powerful medicinal properties. I sprinkle these beauties on almost all my meals.

NUTS & SEEDS

Crunchy, filling & loaded with healthy fats, fibers, minerals & vitamins. To sprinkle a teaspoon of nuts & seeds on your chia pudding or salads is a wonderful way to add more nutrients to your meal.

AVOCADO

Nutritious, versatile & delicious. Rich in healthy fats, fiber, potassium & vitamin C. Not a day goes by without me having a little bit of avo. I like to have it as a side to my eggs, on sourdough bread, in salads, dips, and more.

FATTY-FISH

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are crucial for optimal body and brain function. My favorite source of fatty fish is wild-caught salmon.

BROCCOLI

Anti-cancer & anti-inflammatory properties. Low in calories, and rich in nutrients. I recommend everyone to incorporate more broccoli into their diet. I like to roast it in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil, salt & pepper.

OLIVE OIL

Just a drizzle of olive oil can have a tremendous impact on your health. Olive oil is rich in oleic acid & antioxidants which can help fight inflammation, the healthy fats in olive oil can help reduce bad cholesterol & increase good cholesterol, lowering your risk of getting heart disease. I like to drizzle olive oil onto my salads, sautéed vegetables, & more.
